Update on Red

Looks like I missed Thursday, geee, don't even remember it. Here's Red, looking good. He's still on major bed rest but I've got my Red back, attitude and all. It also looks like we'll be discussing grooming. He doesn't feel he needs it and I do. I win, but he'll try hard to have the last word.

Suspicion

I'm housesitting Sam, the Six Toed Cat (see http://samsixtoesvacationreport.blogspot.com/) so I came home a few minutes ago after feeding him and making sure the box is clean, you know, cat stuff. I got the "sniff" degree, and this expression from Parker. Red was too busy just trying to inhale every bit of scent off my clothes. Cracked me up.

They Keep Calling Me Minnie Pearl

I have no idea why, but they kept calling me Minnie Pearl and laughing hysterically.

People are strange.

Tuesday

Some photos don't come out.

By the way, if you want to read more about Parker and Red from a different Angle, read: http://grannylj.com/root/ She's my next door neighbor, the reason I got Parker and is a very good and funny writer.

Red is Hurting

He's done something to his back or neck, I think it's acting more like his neck. I'm taking him to the vet today if he can tolerate the ride.

Red's hurting. He's put his back out. Please send healing thoughts his way.

The Hat Series

I have a bunch of photos to play with. I'm making a little book with funny sayings and cards.

Here's a quickie fix, Red with Linda's violet cap. He turned out to be the better model today (after I spent an hour grooming Parker).

Egads off a day

My models got partially groomed today and really look strange so I didn't take any photos. "Somebody" has really been tanking on the cookies because even shaved, he didn't change shape.
We'll see about photos tomorrow after I have more than 1/2 a dog done.

Almost Forgot

Then I hit enter and published it without a thing in it.

I've got to groom Parker and brush out Red, I'm trying for a photo shoot this weekend. If anyone watched Westminster, Tiffany is Half sister to the Best of Breed and Red and Parker are cousins to the dog that got the Award of Merit. gorgeous Black Boy.

Sunday

It started out with a yellow-y orange sky, now it's dark but I don't think we're getting rain.

Sunny Day but High Tide

It was a beautiful, sunny day, but the tide was very high so we stayed on leash and close to the cliffs. You should have seen the spray and the waves sparkling. Just gorgeous and we had what was left of the beach to ourselves.
Here they are following up an interesting path and smell.

Just Overcast

Mostly just overcast today. From the stairs it's racing around like a crazy dog. Just getting the kinks out and smelling the great smells and just enjoying being a dog.

Rain

We've got rain coming in. Gee, maybe we'll get a touch of winter? Anyway, in case I cannot get out, I took a series of shots today that explain the joy of going for a walk on the beach. No one on the beach, we look from the top of the cliff so away we go....down the stairs to the beach. The number of stairs varies depending on how many are exposed by the wind.
