I'm almost through the only pictures I have of Parker in Hats. I've actually written a small book about it that will be available at the National.

The Secret Cookie
Parker was positive there was a cookie back there. He actually went and squeezed between the trolley and the cupboard. No cookie but until his suspicions were aleviated, he stared into that corner.

Sunday January 25
This was suppose to be Yesterday's picture for today but I fell asleep. This is how I want all my dogs to look. I know they're happy. So Red was 11 on the 20th, and has a bad back, but occasionally, I still can take him down to the beach and make him happy. The vet says don't but with a face like this, I'll risk it.

This is the result of the tag team game....cookies!!!
The boys definitely need to be groomed. I created a small book last night with pictures of Parker in Linda's hats and will be tweaking that into a fun book to sell at the boutique for the National. It also convinced Linda that I had time to take photos of her caps. She can sell the books and cards along with the caps at the shows we've got coming up. The beautiful weather is at an end, this morning is a beautiful misty grey and the temperature has dropped. Now we'll get the beautiful waves crashing against the sea wall and a whole new visage of the Ocean. My favorite time.

Tomorrow
I meant to add, and didn't, that I found a bunch of his pictures posing for my neighbor's knitted caps. I'll adjust them to get onto the blog tomorrow. I'll have to find Red's pictures too. They're hysterical.
Me thinks the boys need grooming too, I'll try to fit that in sometime, soon.

We had sunlight today, and no rain. I wasn't able to get down to the beach, but we did do a cliff walk.

Welcome to English Cocker Photo A Day
There are only six English Cocker Spaniels in Lincoln County and I have 1/3 of them, or two. Red and Parker come from superb lineage, but are just great all around dogs. My New Year's Resolution is to photography them every day. Red is retired and will soon be 11 years old. Parker is only five and will probably never see the inside of an obedience or agility ring. Nevertheless, he's a grand dog with the most superb and sweetest temperament you could wish for.
January 1st was a bear of a day with gale force winds and sheets of rain all day. I promptly broke my resolution and did not take pictures, but made up for that today and yesterday.
