So many things have happened this year and I'm embarrassed that I let things get so far behind. One of my resolutions is to stay on top of the blogs. So, for tomorrow's blog, I'm going to talk about the shennagans we go through in order to go to bed. Last night was a hoot, but it's a routine and I'm going to go through it so I can share. I live with such funny and wonderful dogs.
So for tomorrow, look forward to the Bed Chess.

That Other Animal
The boys are upset. I'm cat sitting. Unfortunately, it takes time out of their time so I'm not in good flavor with the boys. I do think I found some more pictures though. The computer that I was given is on the fritz and it has all my pictures in it except for a few that I'd downloaded onto this one.

Bones
I've been extremely busy so have not been able to post much. But today, I took a snow day from the shop and went grocery shopping. Got the boys some bones (I try to give them one at least once a month). I couldn't find Parker, although I could hear him macking out. Red, however, was at my feet so I got a decent shot of him. Here he is, eyes rolled up in his head with bliss as he concentrates on getting the marrow out.

Maddie
I have sad news. Maddie (Merrydown Midnight Madness) has gone to the rainbow bridge. I'll miss my Mama Maddie Stories and will think of her with fondness and say a little prayer for her. She is Red's Mom, and Parker's Grandmother.
Rest well Maddie, you have other friends waiting for you at the bridge.

Update on Red
Suspicion
I'm housesitting Sam, the Six Toed Cat (see http://samsixtoesvacationreport.blogspot.com/) so I came home a few minutes ago after feeding him and making sure the box is clean, you know, cat stuff. I got the "sniff" degree, and this expression from Parker. Red was too busy just trying to inhale every bit of scent off my clothes. Cracked me up.

They Keep Calling Me Minnie Pearl
I have no idea why, but they kept calling me Minnie Pearl and laughing hysterically.
People are strange.

Some photos don't come out.
By the way, if you want to read more about Parker and Red from a different Angle, read: http://grannylj.com/root/ She's my next door neighbor, the reason I got Parker and is a very good and funny writer.

Egads off a day
My models got partially groomed today and really look strange so I didn't take any photos. "Somebody" has really been tanking on the cookies because even shaved, he didn't change shape.
We'll see about photos tomorrow after I have more than 1/2 a dog done.

Almost Forgot
Then I hit enter and published it without a thing in it.
I've got to groom Parker and brush out Red, I'm trying for a photo shoot this weekend. If anyone watched Westminster, Tiffany is Half sister to the Best of Breed and Red and Parker are cousins to the dog that got the Award of Merit. gorgeous Black Boy.

Rain
We've got rain coming in. Gee, maybe we'll get a touch of winter? Anyway, in case I cannot get out, I took a series of shots today that explain the joy of going for a walk on the beach. No one on the beach, we look from the top of the cliff so away we go....down the stairs to the beach. The number of stairs varies depending on how many are exposed by the wind.

The Secret Cookie
Parker was positive there was a cookie back there. He actually went and squeezed between the trolley and the cupboard. No cookie but until his suspicions were aleviated, he stared into that corner.

Sunday January 25
This was suppose to be Yesterday's picture for today but I fell asleep. This is how I want all my dogs to look. I know they're happy. So Red was 11 on the 20th, and has a bad back, but occasionally, I still can take him down to the beach and make him happy. The vet says don't but with a face like this, I'll risk it.

This is the result of the tag team game....cookies!!!
The boys definitely need to be groomed. I created a small book last night with pictures of Parker in Linda's hats and will be tweaking that into a fun book to sell at the boutique for the National. It also convinced Linda that I had time to take photos of her caps. She can sell the books and cards along with the caps at the shows we've got coming up. The beautiful weather is at an end, this morning is a beautiful misty grey and the temperature has dropped. Now we'll get the beautiful waves crashing against the sea wall and a whole new visage of the Ocean. My favorite time.

Tomorrow
I meant to add, and didn't, that I found a bunch of his pictures posing for my neighbor's knitted caps. I'll adjust them to get onto the blog tomorrow. I'll have to find Red's pictures too. They're hysterical.
Me thinks the boys need grooming too, I'll try to fit that in sometime, soon.
